Akaysha Energy Chooses Univers Bazefield for Asset Performance Management of the World’s Most Powerful BESS and portfolio of BESS

Melbourne, 27 August 2024 – Univers is proud to announce that Akaysha Energy has selected Bazefield as its data platform and central monitoring system for its BESS portfolio. Bazefield will be the monitoring solution for Akaysha Energy’s whopping 1680 MWh Waratah Super Battery.

Akaysha Energy, appointed by the Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo), is developing the 1680 MWh Waratah Super Battery. This project is the largest committed battery project in the southern hemisphere and the most powerful battery in the world at 850MW / 1680 MWh. As a leader in renewable energy solutions, Akaysha Energy has chosen Bazefield as its central asset monitoring software for its battery sites. Akaysha Energy’s battery storage portfolio pipeline is set to grow to over 10 GWh of capacity.

Headquartered in Melbourne, Akaysha Energy chose Bazefield, a Norway-based SaaS product, for its comprehensive suite of solutions, exceptional cybersecurity features, and expertise in the battery industry and asset monitoring.
